How to Redeem Steal an Latamrot Codes
Find the box, stand on the carpet, then type the string once.
Redeeming a Steal an Latamrot code is easy after you find the box. Copies disagree about where that box lives. Some clone the later Steal a Brainrot left-stack CODES button. Others bury a field under the shop. A few have no GUI at all, which is why the codes hub currently lists nothing to type.
This page is the mechanical how-to for the day a Friday patch actually ships a string. Practice the path now so you are not fumbling while a secret walks the tunnel.
Before you type anything
- Confirm you are in a Steal an Latamrot copy, not Steal a Brainrot, Catch a Latamrot, or a “Don’t Steal the Latamrots” stealth game. The Getting Started page explains how search results lie.
- Fill your cash. Carpet-spawn codes still charge the list price on most clones. A “free secret” that costs $80M is a spawn, not a gift.
- Walk to the red carpet / tunnel in the middle of the map. Spawn codes drop the unit there for the whole 8-player server.
- Make sure you have a free slot. Rebirth floors and extra slots are covered in the rebirth guide.
- Lock your base first. Other players will sprint the moment a rare listing appears. How to protect is the 60-second rule.
Method A — left-stack Codes button
This is the layout Steal a Brainrot standardized, and several Latamrot remakes copied it.
- Load in and wait for the HUD.
- On the vertical button stack (usually left), find CODES. It is not inside the gear shop.
- Tap the button. A text field opens.
- Paste the code exactly — no spaces, match the capitalization the patch note used.
- Hit Redeem / Canjear / Resgatar depending on the copy’s language.
- Look at the carpet. If the reward is a spawn, the latamrot is already walking. Buy it, carry it home, lock.
If the stack has Shop, Rebirth, Index, and Settings but no Codes, this copy never added the GUI. Do not waste time opening every menu. Check the codes hub and hop with the updates notes.
Method B — shop footer field
Older clones put a tiny input under the bat / slap list.
- Open Shop (often a bag or cart icon).
- Scroll below gear, not into gamepasses.
- Type the code and confirm.
- Close the shop so you can see the carpet. Some UIs block camera while the shop is open, which is how people “redeem” and then swear nothing spawned.
Spanish copies label the field Código or Canjear. Brazilian copies use Resgatar. The string you type is still the English/code token from the patch.
Method C — keypad on the carpet (rare)
A handful of steal maps use a physical keypad in the lobby, closer to Fortnite’s Steal the Brainrot than to Roblox Steal a Brainrot. If you see a number pad in the middle of the street:
- Stand next to it so the prompt appears (E on PC, tap on mobile — see controls).
- Enter digits only if the posted code is numeric.
- Back off so other players can use it; many pads are one-at-a-time.
Steal an Latamrot’s original RoVe map used the carpet + shop pattern, not a Fortnite keypad. If you only see a keypad, you may have joined a different steal game.
Failed redeem checklist
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| “Invalid” | Wrong game or expired string | Recheck codes; do not reuse Brainrot codes |
| “Already redeemed” | One-time per account | Stop retrying; hopping servers will not reset it |
| Nothing happens | Shop still open / you are not near carpet | Close UI, look at the tunnel |
| Unit walks away | Another player bought it | That is the genre. Steal it back with how to steal |
| Button missing | Clone never shipped Codes | Play the loop; wait for Friday events |
Server-wide spawns
The important social rule: a spawn code is a public listing. All eight players hear the same alert. Your job is not “secretly claim the code.” Your job is to have cash, a lock, and a route from carpet to pad that is shorter than your neighbors’. Speed coils from gear tiers matter more than typing speed.
If the code grants a luck boost instead of a spawn, it usually lasts a short window. Spend that window on the carpet, not on raiding, unless your tier list says the current listing is trash.
After you redeem
- Lock immediately when the unit hits your plot.
- Do not rebirth until the new latamrot is parked — rebirth deletes placed units on every copy we have seen.
- Screenshot the reward if you want to report it for the codes hub. A chat rumor without a GUI toast is not enough for us to list a string.
Codes will never replace the steal loop. They are a Friday garnish. Master how to play and keep this page bookmarked for the one hour a year a clone actually posts a keypad.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Steal an Latamrot on Roblox.
There is no Codes button. Is the game broken?
Usually the copy never added one. Confirm on the codes hub. Play the steal loop instead of hunting a missing GUI.
Do I have to stand on the red carpet?
For spawn codes, yes. Boost-only codes can be redeemed from your base, but walking to the tunnel is still safer so you see what appeared.
Can friends redeem the same code?
Account-bound codes are once per player. Carpet spawns are visible to the whole server, so friends still need their own cash.
The code worked but someone else got the latamrot.
That is intended. Treat it as a public shop listing and use how to steal if they have not locked yet.
