Step 3 — lock, then look around
Every time a unit enters your plot, lock again. The pad is not a one-time tutorial. After the timer ends, lasers drop and anyone can walk in. That is not a bug.
Now learn the street:
- Eight plots. Your two neighbors are the only people you can raid quickly.
- Carpet timers on the green signs (legendary / mythic countdowns in official screenshots).

Step 4 — first steal (optional in hour one)
If a neighbor’s lasers are down and they are fighting on the carpet, walk in, grab their highest income unit, and run. You will hear their alert. They will chase. Your job is to reach your pad, not to win a fistfight in their doorway. Full technique: how to steal.
If nobody is open, do not force it. AFK income is the name of the genre. Stand in your locked base and let Betito print.
Step 5 — ignore rebirth and scripts on day one
The rebirth button will light up long before you understand what it deletes. Read rebirth first. Scripts that auto-grab are listed on the scripts hub with warnings; they are not part of a clean first hour and they will not teach you the alert sound.
